With a blend of Surfactants that allow for Roundup Pro Max’s active ingredient, glyphosate, to quickly enter plant, Roundup Pro Max is one of the best solutions to kill active growing weeds. Kill weeds has never been easier, even if rain is on the way.
Roundup Pro Max’s Active Ingredient
Glyphosate is one of the best non-selective herbicides active ingredients due to its ability to translocate into the plants roots system, killing the plant completely. It works by inhibiting enzymes found in plants and some microorganism which results in the death of the plant. Roundup Pro Max blend of surfactants allows for quick rain fast properties along with rapid foliar intake, which helps kill the plant quicker.
Rate and Application Areas
With a high amount of active ingredient, Roundup Pro Max give users a low mixing rate for killing most weeds in landscape beds and bare areas. Make sure to read label for proper mixing and application instructions
It is safe to use in non-crop areas including but not limited to commercial sites, ornamentals, parks, residential areas, rights-of-ways, turfgrass areas, warehouse areas and non-food crop sites including Christmas tree farms, plant nurseries, sod or turf seed farms.
Spraying Roundup Products Safely
With recent controversy surrounding Roundup and its link to Cancer, it is important to read all labels and follow accordingly. Roundup has been scientifically proven safe* if following the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while measuring, mixing, and applying the herbicide.
PPE should never be taken lightly even if you only spray once or twice a year. With any herbicide, there are risks involved if you do not properly follow the US EPA approved labels on each product.
Keeping Weeds Gone for Longer?
Roundup Pro Max, like other Roundup products, only kill plants that are existing. Once the product contacts the ground it becomes sterile. It is likely that after a roundup application, new seed will germinate and replace the area that you have just sprayed mostly if the ground was disturbed.
A simple way to keep these areas clean longer is to apply a pre-emergent. You can add in a pre-emergent, like SureGuard, when spraying Roundup Pro Max. Or you can apply a granular pre-emergent before spraying Roundup Pro Max.
